Si tu pardonnes ma faible connaissance du breton, je te réponds en français. Bref, il y a des tas de toponymes sur la Wikipédia cornique qu'on avait dû introduire assez spontanément, au besoin. Certains toponymes se cornicisent très simplement ; d'autres nécessitent un peu de reflection ; d'autres encore sont peu adaptables à la cornicisation. Bon. Quant à la Galice, on a suivi la règle ordinaire selon laquelle une terminaison latine en -ia devient en cornique -i (c.à.d. -y en orthographe unifiée, -i en orthographe commune). Si, la terminaison est -ia et en espagnol et en galicien (à côté de Galiza là, il faut l'admettre) tout comme en anglais, en italien, en allemand... D'ailleurs en cornique commun, on n'a pas de « z ». Il faut évidemment écrire soit Galisi soit Galisa. Le premier me semble plus naturel. yn-medh Owen. 18:55, 16 Est 2006 (UTC)[reply]
yes, i can understand the linguistic/reconstructivist etymological reasons behind the choice made. howewever, i nevetheless think there is a fine line between what is "natural" (to what extent any such lexical choices and neologisms are actually "natural" in cornish is of course rather a moot point) and what is perhaps a more "appropriate" alternative based on repsect for native forms in particular, in this case "Galiza" (recognised as official since 2003 alongside the spanish form "Galicia"). in order to accomodate all possibilities, may i suggest the iclusion of the alternative form "Galisa" in the body of the article itself (plus a short explanation, preferably including both alternative native forms)as well as a possible redirect? thank you for your attention.
